OUT (ON THE TOWN)826--PLAYBOY RO's "PRODICAL SON" CD RELEASE PARTY At OZZIEs &SOUL TRAIN GROOVE PARTY at 4246 OCT. 2

Photos by Ma'atology Therre's rapper/producer Playboy Ro and Delux Magazine's CEO Keith Griffin at Ozzie's. Ro was celebrating the release of his sophomore solo CD, "Prodical Son," and Griffin helped sponsor the event. It also doubled at Ro's b-day celebration.

Ro posed with his aunt.

One of the posters of the photo of the CD cover.

On the 1s and 2s was Tossin Ted (right). Assisting him was Bishop V Luv.

The crowd consisted of his family and well wishers.

One of the many images of Playboy Ro that was projected on the theater screen.

The Block was there to film the occasion. From left are: Kenny Jackson, Mr. A and Roszell Alexander

Sexy in the STL TV also was in the house (literally) to get Ro's interview as well as his performance. Pictured are STL co-host Sen Norva, Mr. Haynes aka Haymaka Musick VP, co-host Lulu Blahnik, Ro and co-host Meeka Eva'Lyn.

Ro gets interviewed by the camera man on the 6th floor above from Ozzie's. Not pictured is STL host and interviewer G'Bassa.

Mr. Haynes started off the show welcoming everyone for coming.

Up first was rapper Ball. He and Ro formed the rock hip hop act Ball and Ro a couple of years back.

Ball in his zone.

Ro's mother introduced her son .

Ro in his trademark gun harness got the crowd started with his 2000s STL classic, "Nikki."

Ro also debuted his newest single, "Iz u Wit It." to the crowd.

Ro in his swagger stance. He performed songs from his CD including, " Speaking My Language," and "Model."

Ro was in raw form!

Ro about to introduce someone to perform with him.

Singer Honiee (formerly Honiee Brown)

She performed with Ro on the title track from his CD.

Hip hop meets soul.

NOTE: OUTTOWN left soon after the Honiee and Ro duet but from Ro, who said we missed the juiciest part of his show when he was humpin' the ground. LOL. Other songs he performed were "Ladies LoveMe," "Handle My Business," Do What You Want" and "Livin it Up" produced by Emmy Award nominated production team, StarStrukk.

After this event, he trekked over to Anthony Robinson's Soul Train Themed Party at his 4246 Spot in the Central West End.

Anthony Robinson (right) and his lady Star Princess Ariel at the party. Check out below who else were in attendance.

The 4246 deejay was dee-jay Enoch who came back to the STL from the ATL to spin at the party.

Imperial Events' Meka Wilson and Ezekiel Obasi were there.

It was packed on the first floor of the two story house.

"No I want a shot of that!"LOL. Therre's Obasi ordering his drink on. In the background is SYGU's Rhashad Whittier (looking at his celly).

"Hey tip your waitresses!"

More folk gettin their party on.

NOTE: While parking, the cops were at 4246 regarding neighbors complaining about the noise. The STL city police do this every time Robinson has a party and he gives them ample warning beforehand when he throws parties. Robinson had to go outside and talk to the cops about the complaint. UGH! Anyway, good food and drink (free) and music by Enoch playing jams from the 70,s, 80,s 90s, and today. Others in attendance were former Rams player Bernard Whittington, Evening Whirl editor Anthony Sanders, Shaving House's Kevie Hendrix, bartendar Kandis Hendrix, and poet Mocha Williams.
